Take 2: Coast-to-Coast for Hand-in-Hand Ride (version 2021)

Our Coast-to-Coast for Hand-in-Hand ride last year
was so amazing, why not let’s do it again?!

To raise awareness for Hand-in-Hand (HnH) orphan schools in the Central African Republic – and have an amazing time in the process – Judi Orme and I (Barb Wooler) are retracing our same route this summer (more or less) as we did last summer across this beautiful land.

But there are a couple important differences this time:

  1. First, our “bikes” this year have motors, not pedals. Yes, motorcycles!
And because motorcycles travel a lot faster than bicycles…
  2. Our cross-country trek will take only 18 rides this year instead of 40.

So, if you love kids and missions and this amazingly beautiful land, please join us on our 18-ride adventure!

WHEN: We start daily social media/website posts on July 28, 2021 and will continue those post to the end of our 18 rides – from coast to coast – on August 14.
(Note: The prayer initiative this year will be just 14 days,  from August 1-14.)

WHERE: Our first ride will start at Anacortes, Washington (actually in Seattle where our cycles are being shipped), our 18 rides retracing our route across America, at least until Minnesota. From there we will have to reroute somewhat since we used bike trails heavily on the last 1/3 of our cross-country ride.

WHY: Because this will be so fun! But also, and more importantly, to remind folks why Hand-in-Hand schools are such a great way to help both African orphans and the African Church by discipling a new generation of African kids to serve and lead.

PLEASE, JOIN US!
