About us: As a ministry of Encompass World Partners, Encompass Crisis Response focuses primarily but not exclusively on regions of the world where Encompass staff are deployed, and/or there are Charis Churches.
Our core belief is that God is in the midst of crisis drawing people to Himself, and that He has called and uniquely equipped the Church to serve in crisis.
We serve in North America and globally.
While we serve with many Evangelical churches and agencies, crises touching people and churches within our national and global Charis movement are priorities.
We are also very drawn to partners on the ground who are highly intentional in ministering to the whole person, as only the Church can – responding to physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
No one agency, no matter how large and resource flushed it may be, can respond to all crises. When a crisis strikes an FGBC or Charis Alliance community somewhere in the world, that crisis, often not even known by the larger agencies, is known by Encompass Crisis Response and is our priority.
No one agency, no matter how large and resource flushed it may be, can respond to all crises. While Encompass Crisis Response serves the greater Body of Christ, we also can focus on crises in our Charis “tribe”, crises too localized to garner the attention of larger agencies.
While many agencies work hard to get 70% of a donation to the need for which it was given, Encompass World Partner is grateful that our percentage is 85%.
